Well...its been a long week...

Well we discovered last Saturday that our little man has developped Colic. About a week ago, we started noticing that his behavior was changing. All of a sudden he didn't want to take naps anymore. Then, we noticed him getting fussier and fussier in the evenings. But what really got us to figure out what it was was when he started crying while he was being burped and immediately after eating.
It was a rough day for Mommy when we found out. On one hand, I was relieved to know that you wern't crying because I was doing something wrong. Your tummy was just hurting! But on the other hand, I went through a little phase of grief because I was afraid that I wouldn't get to see my happy baby again for a few months.
But God has blessed us so much since we found out. I have had so many moms call and give their support. Many of them have come over and held Darryl while he cried so I could take a break. Since Chris works at night (his fussiest time) we have gone over to the Smiths house on numourous occasions and spent time with them. We even got to spend the day at Amy Wood's house baking cookies and hanging out with friends. Not to mention Dayla who has come over and loved on baby D a lot. And as always, we are thankful for the Rigdons, Fites, Reiningers, and Howells for all the love they are always giving us.
But I am so excited because the last two nights in a row you haven't been fussy!! I'm hoping its a trend... We would love for everyone to keep praying!!!
Now for a funny story about Darryl... So he is a MOVER. He can inch all over the place and roll over from this tummy to his back. Well, this has made sleeping at night very difficult because every time he rolls onto his back it scares him! So we decided to get one of those wedge things that you can put in the crib to hold your baby in place. Well, we were really excited because it looks like it was working...until last night when we heard him grunting. We looked in the baby moniter and he was "crawling" across his crib... DRAGGING the wedge!! It was hilarious!!!!
Oh our strong little man....
